PAW PAW, Mich. — The much-anticipated Paw Paw Wine and Harvest Festival is set to return in September, bringing with it a plethora of activities for visitors to enjoy. Hosted at Powhatan State Park, this festival is a celebration of the region's rich winemaking tradition and the bountiful harvest season.
The festival offers something for everyone, from wine enthusiasts to families looking for a fun day out. Visitors can indulge in tastings and tours at local wineries, participate in a 5k run, watch the grape stomping competition, and even join in on a kayak race. There will also be live music, food vendors, and other exciting festivities to enjoy.
In a special meeting held by the Lawrence Township Board, recommendations were made to enhance the festival experience and attract more visitors. The South Haven Van Buren County Convention and Visitors Bureau has teamed up with the Paw Paw Downtown Development Authority to ensure this year's festival is a huge success.
