PASO ROBLES — The Paso Robles Livestock Judging Team members recently made a remarkable achievement at a national competition, showcasing the agricultural roots of the region. The dedication and hard work of these students highlight the strong agricultural heritage of Paso Robles.

As kids start a new school year, some of their parents are going back to school, too. Parent University has been part of the Paso Robles educational system, offering parents the opportunity to further their education and engage in their children's learning experience, fostering a strong community bond within the city.

To the editor, - Steve Gregory is by far the best person on Paso Robles City Council. He listens to his constituents and is a strong advocate for the community, embodying the spirit of Paso Robles. His dedication to serving the city is commendable and sets an example for all.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, the sidewalks of Paso Robles Downtown Park will be filled with local students creating chalk art as part of Arté de Paso, showcasing the artistic talents of the community. This event brings together residents of all ages to celebrate creativity and self-expression in a vibrant display of colors and designs.

The third annual fundraiser benefiting From the Heart Animal Sanctuary will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28, from noon to 3 p.m. at 580 in Paso Robles, emphasizing the importance of animal welfare in the community. This event is a wonderful opportunity to support a local cause and make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need.

The Paso Robles Main Street Association will present the 26th Annual Taste of Downtown on Saturday, Sept. 21, inviting residents and visitors to indulge in the culinary delights of Paso Robles. This event showcases the diverse and delicious offerings of local restaurants, highlighting the thriving food scene in the city.
