In the heart of Inglewood, California, 'The SoCal Scene' gets an inside look at 1010 Wine, the city's only Black woman-owned wine bar. Leslie and LeAnn Jones, two sisters with a passion for wine, are making waves in the industry with their unique establishment that celebrates Black culture through the lens of wine and spirits.

Whether you prefer natural wines or classic French varietals, 1010 Wine offers something for everyone. From intimate tastings to special events, this hidden gem is a must-visit for wine enthusiasts in the Los Angeles area.

Recently, Issa Rae brought her Prosecco brand, Viarae, to Inglewood with a special tasting at 1010 Wine. The event was a hit, showcasing the intersection of entertainment and wine culture in a vibrant setting.

In addition to Viarae, 1010 Wine partners with other Black-owned businesses and winemakers to offer a diverse selection of wines that honor the richness of Black culture. Venues like Joyce and Offhand Wine Bar also join in on this mission, creating a community that celebrates diversity in the wine industry.

The Kwanzaa Extravaganza at 1010 Wine was a two-night, seven-course wine dinner that brought together wine lovers from all backgrounds to commemorate the holiday season. The event highlighted the unique flavors and traditions of Kwanzaa through carefully curated wine pairings.

Issa Rae's collaboration with 1010 Wine for an intimate soiree promoting Viarae Prosecco was a testament to the bar's commitment to supporting Black-owned businesses and uplifting the voices of Black winemakers in the industry.

The Association of African American Vintners honored Christopher Renfro of 280 Project for his innovation and dedication to the wine world, along with Leslie and LeAnn Jones of 1010 Wine for their contributions to promoting diversity and inclusion in the industry.

In a recent article, five Twin Cities beverage experts shared their recommendations for sparkling wines to bring to New Year's parties. Don't forget to pick up an extra bottle of bubbly to toast to new beginnings and celebrate with friends and loved ones.
