In recent news, court documents reveal that a woman attempted to walk out of a northwest side Kroger with stolen liquor but was confronted by store security. The planned Kroger supermarket and fuel station is set to open in the Fern Creek and Highview areas, just south of Interstate 265. This new location will provide even more convenience for customers looking to pick up their favorite wines and spirits.

Recently, Kroger hosted a Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Event at six of their locations, revealing big winners of the rare bourbon drawing. Customers had the chance to purchase this highly sought-after bourbon at retail prices.

Kroger customers in Kentucky can enter a chance to buy Pappy Van Winkle at selected stores in Lexington and Louisville on December 14. This exclusive bourbon is a must-have for any bourbon enthusiast.

An exclusive bourbon release tied to the upcoming 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla is also available at Kroger. This limited edition bourbon is a collector's item for fans of both golf and spirits.

The 66000 square foot Kroger store features a Starbucks, a fuel center, and a drive-thru Wine and Spirits Shoppe. This convenient setup allows customers to easily pick up their favorite wines and spirits while running errands.

To celebrate the store's grand reopening, Kroger will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony at 7:45 a.m. Friday. This event will showcase the store's updated look and highlight the expanded wine and spirits department.
