Nicknamed “Mad Dog”, MD 20/20 is Scotland's second favorite tonic wine. It's sold in chunky, 750ml-sized, cuboid-shaped bottles with rounded edges, making it easily recognizable on the shelves of liquor stores worldwide. Despite its popularity, MD 20/20 has garnered a controversial reputation over the years, earning labels such as "bum wine" or "brown bag vino".

With MD 20/20 being known for its high alcohol content and sugary flavor, it's essential for consumers to be aware of the impact it can have on their health.

MD 20/20 is produced by Mogen “Shield of David” David in Westfield, N.Y. It's made from Concord grapes, sugar, flavor, and, we suspect, some less-than-desirable ingredients. The iconic brand has been a staple in the fortified wine market for decades, appealing to a wide range of consumers with its affordable price point and potent effects.

The iconic MD 20/20 brand stakes its claim to the year 2020 with the introduction of a special GOLD limited edition pineapple flavor. This bold move showcases the brand's ability to adapt to changing consumer preferences while maintaining its position as a leader in the fortified wine industry.

Listen, I'm not usually one to get snobby about alcohol, but after years of refining my palette in the finest bus stations and public parks, even I have to admit that MD 20/20 has a distinct taste that sets it apart from other wines. Whether you love it or hate it, there's no denying the impact MD 20/20 has had on the wine market.

Some call it 'bum wine' or 'brown bag vino'. But the cultured call it 'fortified wine', that ultra-sweet, high-octane 'grape wine with a kick'. MD 20/20 may not be everyone's cup of tea, but for those who appreciate its unique flavor profile and potent effects, it remains a go-to choice for a night of indulgence.

For most of us, MD 20/20 has (and always will be) known as Mad Dog 20/20. But it has recently been revealed by a picture doing the rounds that the iconic brand has undergone a makeover, with a sleek new label and updated packaging. This modern twist on a classic favorite is sure to attract both loyal fans and new customers alike.

The 'bum wine' has many names: street wine, brown bag wine, wino wine, fortified wine, or twist-cap wine (although a lot of decent wines have twist caps these days). Regardless of what you call it, MD 20/20 has carved out a niche for itself in the competitive wine market, offering a bold and unapologetic drinking experience for those who dare to indulge.
