Richard Romney, the general manager of Post Office Place, has been collecting and acquiring Japanese whiskies for over 12 years and has amassed an impressive collection of rare and limited edition bottles. The largest of the spikes announced so far are for Suntory's Hibiki 30, Single Malt Yamazaki 25, and Single Malt Hakushu 25, all of which will see significant price increases due to their rarity and high demand. These iconic Japanese whiskies are considered some of the finest in the world and are coveted by collectors and connoisseurs alike.

It's the oldest Suntory whisky ever produced and was distilled by Shinjiro Torii himself. Limited to 200 bottles, in 2020 half were made available by lottery to lucky winners. This rare and exclusive whisky is a testament to the craftsmanship and history of Japanese whisky production, making it a prized possession for those lucky enough to own a bottle.
